We have worked with the lovely Jade and Tara for years now – quite frankly we LOVE these girls! They are so lovely, and do such a great blog.
They did our twitter takeover for us last year also – which was amazing!!!!

When did you start blogging and how did you get into it?
“It was a rainy day back in 2010 when we had an email conversation about possibly starting our own blog. We were inspired by super bloggers Rumi Neely of Fashion Toast and Natalie Off Duty! There weren’t many UK bloggers on the scene back then so we figured we’d give blogging a go as a duo. It took us a little while to come up with the blog name, we were almost called Ima Style Shot for a moment there! 😉
As neither of us work in fashion, The Style Rawr is a great creative outlet for us. Sometimes we find ourselves daydreaming of future blog projects/outfit posts while we’re sitting at our desks… Whoops!”
What is your fashion background?
“We both worked in retail during our late teens so our love of all things fashion became even stronger when we were surrounded by it. Although we had jobs in high street stores, we’ve always saved our money to buy more expensive brands/designer items because we hate being seen in the same thing as everyone else…This is probably the reason we discovered Spoiled Brat!”
How did you meet?
“We met in 2005 through an online fan site of Gwen Stefani’s clothing line, L.A.M.B. The brand wasn’t really stocked in the UK at the time so as two of a small group of British ‘Lambies’, we instantly bonded. Gwen is still one of our all-time style icons and without her we’d be strangers!”
What are your greatest blog achievements?
“We’ve been shortlisted every year since 2011 for blog awards by top UK magazines such as LOOK, Cosmopolitan and Company! We’ve also had our photos in a few mags, worked with Forever 21 to launch their new Liverpool store and took part in a GHD SS14 photo shoot.”
What is your favourite thing about blogging?
“The socialising, be it with brands, PR firms or fellow bloggers! We’ve made some fantastic friends through blogging and find it incredible that there are people out there who are interested in what we’re wearing/have to say!”
Where do you see your blog in a few years?
“Hopefully we’ll continue to grow and perhaps branch out into YouTube. We’ve always toyed with the idea of creating a sister lifestyle blog where we can share our thoughts on home decor, baking, travel and much more! Who knows, the internet is our oyster.”
